More Summer Fun

We had some other fun adventures this summer.
We went With my Mom to Show Low and spent a couple of days in my brother and sister-in-law's cabin.  It was wonderfully cool and relaxing.

Reading outside!
Dear Brother Ekins died. He was our second son's father-in-law. We were sad to lose him.  However it was good to see our cute newest granddaughter at the funeral.

This great grandma sure enjoys holding this darling baby.
We sure love these darling girls.

A beautiful Family!

We enjoyed a trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City Utah with my Mom and neighbor Helen.  We stopped to see the temple that is being built. There is a missionary couple that told us about the construction and progress of the temple.  It was fascinating.

We thoroughly enjoyed a drive through the southern part of Zions.

We had a great time seeing Romeo and Juliette, A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, although we were a bit 'played out' after three in a row.
Hanging with the Bard

Rod and I spent a 'date day' kayaking and had a delightful time.  We even went out after and bought life vests that actually fit.

Rod took a long weekend and went up to Utah to spend time with some more of our former missionaries.  He spent a couple of days camping with this crew. and visited with several others after that.

He had a great time.  We sure do love those boys.

We feel so blessed to be able to enjoy life and share it with so many amazing friends and family.

Nice pictures -- thanks for sharing. Must have been really fun seeing some of those former missionaries and spending time with them.

So many different kinds of love; family, friends, people we've served with. So cool!
