Other Fun

Here are some miscellaneous adventures from this year

A few of my ceramic creations.  I particularly liked the texture on this dish

I was very pleased with the size and uniformity of this set of three.

I still thoroughly enjoy my ceramics classes. It is such fun to begin to feel that I am getting good at it too.  I will have to take some photos of Rod's water colors.  He continues to take classes too and is enjoying them and improving greatly.  It is so fun to finally have time and $ to spend on learning to 'art'!
Aaron was out of town for a week so I got to go up and stay with Elena to 'backstop' and help.  It was a treat to just hang out!
Penny and her sheep

This little man is getting so big and figuring out how to use these fun toys

He hadn't quite started to walk at this point but he had figured out how to push the stool around and reach  what every he wanted.

the serious expression was momentary.

Still Queen Bee

How did I actually get a picture of the biggest one?

Her Mom is getting skilled at braiding.

Beautiful weather sent us to the park!
I managed to be there for Miles birthday party at a huge bounce house venue.  Fantastic fun and no clean up...Win Win Win!

I Admit it...my favorite part was going out with my darling daughters.  This was very fancy ice cream made with liquid nitrogen.  A different texture than usual and very delicious, but the company was the best part!

Rod and I took a quick trip to Las Vegas to see this cute couple sealed.  Loved it! congratulations to the Fishes.

Rod connected with him at the bachelor party of one of our Malaga Elders, and it was our blessing to be part of this marriage.

Happy Father's Day
Then as a celebration of our 40th Anniversary, we took a week in Utah.  While there we caught up with lots of dear ones.  The first couple of days were at Lava Hot Springs.  It was a bit too cold for us to float the river, but we thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the hot  springs s.ome of which were shaded by the red tent.
While Rod hiked the mountain with one of our returned Mesa Missionaries I wandered the little town and found these flowers.

We met this young man in Malaga when he was 14.  We were surprised to hear that he was serving a mission...(he's still 14 to us) in Ogden Utah.  We sure enjoyed lunch with him and his companion.  It was so fun to hear Spaniard Spanish again.  And we were shocked at how tall he'd gotten.   Thanks for contacting us Danny!

We spent time with several others including the Deeres.  Such fun.  We ended our trip staying with the Wells family and they took me horse back riding!  I still enjoy it but I can tell it's been years.  My muscles aren't strong as once they were.  I was pleasantly surprised at how little soreness I had afterwards.

We lead such a blessed life!

Thank you for the roses my Love!
